In Japan, a company called Jakk, owned by billionaire Hiroshi Mikitani, is known for making high-quality roller skaters.
Its skates are designed by the same team that designed the shoes in the US, and are manufactured by its own factory in Sapporo, Japan.
But Jakk doesn’t have the same level of production that some of its American counterparts do.
The US-based company’s new products are all made in the United States, and the company is selling them to skateboarders for around $2,000.
Jakk’s American skateboards are made in a different factory.
