The most recent big names in skateboarding and skateboarding skate are getting younger.
This is great news for those that love skating, but what about the people who aren’t?
The most popular skateboard on the planet, the skate Infinity, is set to make its grand debut at the 2017 World’s Fair in New York City on July 15, 2017.
It is the first skateboard designed and built by a woman.
“In the early days of skateboarding, the women’s skating was so dominant,” said Michael Waddell, executive director of the Women’s Skate Association of America.
“You had the most experienced women’s skaters, but they weren’t the biggest stars.
So it was a very, very, limited opportunity.”
Waddell and other board manufacturers have been working hard to create the most advanced boards possible.
They have taken their knowledge of skateboard design and construction and combined it with a deep understanding of skate mechanics.
“We’ve had over 30 years of experience in this industry, and we are very confident that we can make the most powerful, fastest, most innovative, and most versatile skateboard,” said Waddill.
But while women’s skateboarding is gaining momentum, there are still a few hurdles for women to overcome.
Skateboard manufacturers are limited by their knowledge and the size of their facilities.
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) said in a news release in February that skateboarding’s female riders are just a fraction of the riders that skated in 1980s skateboarding.
The DOT added that the industry still has a long way to go to reach parity with male riders.
In 2016, the U.K. government said that women make up about 1.6 percent of the UK population and that there are 1,000 female skateboarders.
In Australia, there were over 3,000 women skaters in 2016.
According to the International Skate Federation (ISF), there are over 300 female skaters registered in the world.
There are nearly 30,000 skateboarder-owned shops in the United States.
In a world where a girl can make it to the top, why can’t a girl get to the bottom?
“I think it’s the biggest barrier that we have, and I think that it’s a lot bigger than just skateboarding,” said Tania Cazares, founder of the female skateboarding blog The Girl With The Skate, on why the industry is still lagging behind the men.
“It’s a little bit of a barrier for girls, and the only way we’re going to get there is by doing what they do.”
In the U., the first ever skateboard contest was held in 2012.
In the end, only one woman won, but it was enough to push the female skating industry forward.
In 2016, Skate Australia won the International Women’s Open skateboarding event in Adelaide.
Cazares says that the female community has a lot of challenges in skateboarding.
“There’s no gender specific culture,” she said.
“I think that if there were, the guys would be doing it.
And the girls, we would be riding with them.””
I do feel that it is important for women that we keep making it easier for women in this profession.”
