Go skate day at Downtown San Diego on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the event’s Facebook page.
The event is free, but some tickets are required.
For those who don’t want to pay, the skatepark is offering complimentary parking, as well as complimentary food.

The skatepark will reopen on Wednesday with a rotating lineup of events.
“For a long time, I’ve wanted to bring Go Skaters Day to Downtown San, so this is a fantastic way to bring that to life,” said Mike Hickey, the park’s general manager.
The plaza is located at the intersection of San Pablo Avenue and S. Van Ness Street, a street that runs through the heart of downtown.
It is home to skateparks such as the San Pablo Street Skatepark, the S.H.O.T.E. Skate Park, the Skate Zone at the SFO, and the Southside Skate Parlor.
“The plaza will be packed full of skateparades, food trucks and other events to keep everyone busy,” Hickey said.
