The first official skate games for the new PlayStation 4 video game console are coming soon, as the company is gearing up to make its latest offering a reality.
The launch of the PS4’s official skate game line-up is expected to take place at the E3 video game show in Los Angeles on May 27, with the first skate game to be released on the console scheduled to arrive later this year.
Al Jazeera’s video game team has previously reported that the first PS4 skate game, Skate Paradise, would launch on June 30.
In a new video blog post on Wednesday, Ubisoft confirmed that the PS 4’s official Skate app will launch on the new console on May 26.
“Skate Paradise will be released to the public on the PS Vita and PlayStation 4 in early May,” the company said.
“We’re proud to announce that Skate, the first of our skate game platforms, is coming to PS4.
The PS4 version will offer a completely new take on skateboarding, bringing the latest features and improvements.”
The PS4 launch will see players able to download the PSVR, the Oculus Rift headset, and the PlayStation Camera app from the PS Store.
Players will be able to purchase these features through the PS VR store on PS4 by purchasing a new bundle.
