Orchard Skate Park is a brand new skate park in the heart of Vancouver, Canada.
It’s the first skate park of its kind in North America and was built with the help of local skate shop owners and other local community groups.
The park’s owners, who are all from the area, have taken it upon themselves to help the city’s homeless community by offering free skate lessons to anyone who wants to try the park out.
They even have a donation page to help out.
In this short video, we talk with Orchard owner, Mark Fisk about how the park came about, what the park has been like so far, and the future of the park.
The video is about 4 minutes long.
